The 3rd annual workshop on Power Electronics for Aerospace Applications will provide a forum for aerospace power systems and power electronics engineers, and strategy makers to share and discuss the latest technological developments, experiences and achievements, and collectively explore the future challenges faced in this fast-developing industry. 

We invite submissions on the following topics of interest: 

• Aircraft electrical power system architectures 

• Electrical protection systems for aircraft applications 

• Systems of power electronics 

• Systems resilience 

• Design and testing for certification 

• DC distribution systems 

• Hydrogen-electric systems 

• Electrical propulsion systems 

• Higher voltage aircraft power system technologies 

• Cryogenic and superconducting power electronics and power technologies 

• New power systems and power electronics packaging materials 

• Advanced cooling systems designs 

 

Key submission information:

• Your submission should be 2-6 pages in length  

• Please follow the IEEE conference paper template found here 

• Please submit your abstract to peasa2025conf@strath.ac.uk

 

Key information for presentation-only submissions:

• Please submit a working title and 250 word abstract for your planned presentation by email to peasa2025conf@strath.ac.uk by Thursday 29^th May.

 

• The PEASA committee will provide notification of acceptance within 1 week.
